Welcome back, contenders.
We updated the demo.
Couldn’t just leave it sitting there on the old build while the throne remains empty, so here we are.
We’ve been cooking behind the scenes since launch, and this update brings a huge batch of improvements, progression updates, visual upgrades, and even more chaos to unleash.
What’s new?
· Improved UX & visuals across all gameplay phases
· Meta currency system for unlocks and progression
· Improved character progression
· Dash is now integrated into the stamina system
· New sounds & music
· Leaderboards
· New main menu & character select
· Updated intro sequence
· More juice, more impact, more chaos
· More projectile variety
· More spells
Game Design pushed the balancing further, and we added a leaderboard. Our most regarded game designer currently holds the top spot.
Try to beat it. We couldn’t.
We also bullied our coders into improving performance and fixing bugs. Worth it.
And finally: tons of new art polish, crunchy sounds, updated VFX, and enough visual noise to mildly concern your eyeballs.
This update is a major step forward for the demo and the overall feel of the game. Combat is louder, progression is smoother, and builds have become even more juicy.
If you already played the demo before, now’s the perfect time to jump back in and continue your ascension.
