DEATHMARK changes
GENERAL CHANGES
31 Steam Achievements have been added with more on the way with each new role and mode.
Added a new Corrupted role: Psychic
Added 2 new Ability Cards; Mesmerize and Sigil Drain.
Added a new Sigil; Sigil of Fate.
Added 3 new Item Cards; Root Beer, Self-Centered and Time Bomb.
Trials can now be started on the first turn of a match.
Added a tooltip on the HUD role name to see information about your role.
Added a "Players" tab in the pause menu.
You can now mute players from this tab.
If you are the host, you can now kick players from this tab.
BALANCE CHANGES

PSYCHIC 🆕

Randomizes your target’s targets.
Is limited to a max of 1 per hand.
Steam post image Sigil Drain 🆕
Pick 2 targets. Drain 20% Sigil Charge from your first target and give it to your second target.
Is limited to a max of 1 per hand.

All players receive 2 random ability cards from any role.
Is the fastest charging Sigil in the game currently. (450)
Developer comment: "The Psychic joins the Corrupted team and brings 2 cards and a sigil that can disrupt the flow of a game to help their team win. We'll be monitoring feedback about this role throughout the next two weeks and are planning on adjusting its balance in our next major update."
KILLER ↕️

Developer comment: "While we're allowing trials to be started on the first turn, we're also allowing the Killer to place a mark on the first turn. This change should result in faster, more straight-to-the-point games."

Developer comment: "We're changing how self-use Ability Cards show up to pair with the changes done to Mystification. We're hoping to see some more teamwork. The next major update will also have Coalescence be replaced by a new card."
MAKER ⬆️

Drop rate increased by 135%. (30 > 70)

Is now limited to a max of 1 per hand.
Developer comment: "We felt that the Maker's ability cards were still not being drawn quick enough. So we're increasing their drop rates while limiting them to one per hand in hopes to see the Maker help their teammates, or try to put suspicions on Untainted players more often."
SEER ⬇️

Developer comment: "With the Psychic being added, we're moving the Sigil of Vision from the fastest-charging sigil to the second fastest."

VIGILANTE ↕️

Improvised Kill ⬆️

Is now limited to a max of 1 per hand.

Sigil of Reversal ⬇️
Sigil charge rate slowed by 100%. (650 > 1300)
Developer comment: "We're making the Vigilante rely more on getting things done by themselves instead of relying on their sigil. This includes making sure they have both Stay Alert and Improvised Kill at their disposal to try and take out potential evil-doers. We'll be monitoring feedback about those changes and will balance it out if necessary in the next major update."
ITEMS
Root Beer 🆕 (Legendary)
Applies the effects of a random card.
Is limited to a max of 1 per hand.
Self-Centered 🆕 (Epic)
Makes your target’s head huge until the end of the next Chaos Phase.
Is limited to a max of 1 per hand.
Time Bomb 🆕 (Unique)
Activate a bomb with a random turn timer before it explodes, then pass it to someone. Hot potato anyone?
Is limited to a max of 1 in the entire deck.
Amulet of Oguatho ⬆️
Now grants its target 3 random Ability Cards if it doesn't kill.
Developer comment: "We wanted to give players a reason to risk using Amulet on themselves, this change also rewards anyone who survives the kill attempt."
Binds of Oguatho ↕️
Removed "Always plays first" from the description of the card; Mesmerize now plays before.
Duality ⬇️
Is now limited to a max of 1 per hand. (2 > 1)
Developer comment: "While we appreciate the love for gambling for cards, we want to open up card combos that aren't just Duality². If you feel like only gambling, Double Dip and Duality is still a possible combo."
Mystification ↕️
No longer a self-use.
Now targets others and causes your target to have their cards used hidden.
Developer comment: "We're listening to feedback regarding Mystification and how people feel like it is either useless, or gives away someone too easily. We're hoping this change allows for people to twist how the card is meant to be used in unique ways. This change is only the first out of other changes planned for this card, we'll keep an eye on feedback as always so keep it coming."
BUG FIXES
Fixed an issue where the last player to join a lobby after a game has ended would be in a broken state.
Fixed Runic Charm always applying to only yourself, even if you targeted another player.
Stay Alert no longer adds a valid Improvised Kill target if the target has not used a negative card.
Fixed dead players not having a speaking icon while they were using voice chat.
Attempted a fix for players getting their controls soft-locked.
The Journal and Text Chat should no longer be open while on the target selection screen.
Plot Armor VFX now correctly respects whether it was a successful use or not.
Fixed a rare occurrence where Transmutation would not give its target any cards.
Fixed a bug where a player's mark could return after being protected by Protective Barrier.
Fixed Ebb and Flow warning saying 50% instead of 30%.
Fixed a clipping issue with the Gavel.
Fixed missing speaking indicators on dead players.
Fixed an issue where tooltips would not go away when unselected in a specific manner.
