Cast Preview: Ayleen & Chelsea + Episode 1 Update

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a small Episode 1 update and introduce two more characters who appear briefly in the upcoming episode.

Episode 1 is now getting close to completion. Most of the episode is already written, rendered, or being prepared for integration into the game. I am currently working on the final scenes and getting everything ready for testing.

I also plan to share a Patreon playtest version of Episode 1.

This playtest build will not be the fully polished final version. It will be focused on testing the episode itself, so music and sound will not be included. The goal is to let supporters play through the episode early, check the pacing, find issues, and get a first look at the full Episode 1 content.

At the moment, Episode 1 is expected to offer close to two hours of gameplay, depending on reading speed, exploration, and choices.

Now, for the cast preview.

Episode 1 also introduces two new women in Westbrook:

Ayleen and Chelsea.

Their roles in Episode 1 are still small, mostly serving as an introduction, but both characters are planned to have more interaction opportunities in future episodes.

Ayleen is sweet, caring, and protective, but she is not someone Marcus can easily get close to. She has warmth, but she also has boundaries. Getting closer to her will not be as simple as saying the right thing once.

Chelsea is a very different kind of problem.

She is trouble, and she knows it. Chelsea brings a more chaotic energy to the cast: playful, tempting, dangerous, and very likely to make Marcus’ life more complicated when she decides to.

For now, both characters are only stepping into the story.

But Westbrook is growing, and so is the cast around Player.

The current focus is finishing the last scenes, preparing the playtest build, and making sure Episode 1 feels like a strong first step after the prologue.
