addedThis update is the first part of something that I've always wanted to add to DeadOS, an in game City Editor update!
addedYou can now choose which buildings and parks go where in your generated cities. On the city generating screen you can now see the Edit This City option:
addedFrom here you can select the city blocks and change them as you see fit. You can choose the default blocks I put into the game but also mix in your own custom made blocks in any layout you choose. Perhaps you want your city's police station to be in a specific spot? You can now do that!
addedThis update is the first part of a few editor updates. The next update will be to edit the rivers to create your own river layouts as that is a large job in itself to develop. I also want to add things like a rotate option as at the moment a random rotation is picked.
addedIt took a LOT of programming changes to get this editor working as the systems before were never really set up to allow removing and creating new buildings on the fly, but now it's here! You can also save any city you have created.
fixedI also fixed a bug where the grids that you see when moving up and down floors were being displayed incorrectly on regenerated cities, as well as some potential duplicate things being spawned on regeneration.

This update brings us another step closer to the goal of an eventual Scenario Editor where users can create their own specific scenarios like the two I have put into the game.
I also fixed a bug where the grids that you see when moving up and down floors were being displayed incorrectly on regenerated cities, as well as some potential duplicate things being spawned on regeneration.
Thanks for playing as always and let me know what you want to see in future updates!
