Welcome back to the Station!
Today we’re going to take a little breather between the long and dangerous raids. Your synths need time to recuperate and strengthen their morale. The best way to do that is to take time spending your hard earned resources on upgrades. Let’s take a look at the main buildings of the station.
MAIN SERVER
The mysterious Professor is always working on something in the name of greater good. At least, as far as he claims it to be. Whatever his true intentions are, we are lucky to have him on our side. His deep connections to slavers and traders of the Wasteland, as well as intrinsic understanding of what makes all synths tick, makes his inventions a huge help in our line of work.
TRAIN-FACTORY
First comes the distant rumble, then the rhythmic clicking, ending in the heavy hiss of brakes. Yes, finally the long-awaited train arrived. Once a means of transport, now it’s a top-notch factory that is capable of enhancing your synths’ unique abilities. However, whenever you get something, you have to give back. Some modules come with slight drawbacks, so make sure to read through thoroughly.
LABORATORY
Lab techs give out their best in an effort to create implants that provide better chances of survival during the raids. Given that there are only eight available spaces for each of the heroes, make sure that the implants provide the best advantage to each of them. Don’t forget to use all opportunities to get the implants during the raids, to make sure your synths are at their best.
MEET THE SQUAD
When things are heating up, we need all the reinforcements we can get. Bastion and Viper are one of the core members, each bringing their own unique approach to survival. Let’s meet them.
Bastion
Sometimes you hear him mutter something to himself. The only word you can discern is “Legion”. The scars on his face, the unabated will to protect as if he has taken a solemn vow… Something dark must have happened to him before he ended up at the Station. You can’t help yourself but wonder what. Bastion, just as his name suggests, is a walking fortress, built to take in any attack. With his massive shield and top-tier armor, Bastion is the toughest tank out there. He’s slow and doesn’t hit as hard as others, but his ability to soak up damage makes him an irreplaceable frontline.
With the right upgrades, he becomes a wrecking ball in melee combat, overwhelming enemies with sheer force.
Viper
Once a mercenary working for the Bureau, Viper seems to still have some ties to her past. Maybe, if you spend enough time together, she’ll be ready to open up.
Where she might lack power, she easily compensates with lethal precision. Viper thrives on long-range combat, taking down threats before they even get close. She’s fragile, but her exceptional range allows her to stay behind the frontlines, picking off enemies with deadly accuracy.
She can fight up close if needed, but keeping her at a distance is the best way to play to her strengths.
We’ll provide more information on buildings that are supported by Fractions next time. The politics are never-ending even after a collapse of the society we once knew. It is vital to know who to trust and what you can gain from working with others.
