1.2.26 PATCH NOTES

This patch includes 1 new skin plus a lot of new Dragons Anti-Cheat updates.

Dragons AntiCheat is a custom anticheat solution designed by Beawesome Games and built into Day of Dragons. It works alongside Easy AntiCheat to provide extra protection against known hacking methods. It does not affect game performance.

NEW Shadow Scale Skin:

DRAGONS ANTICHEAT:

• Dragons AntiCheat now logs users SteamID and Steam Persona Name who are using common hacks or suspicious third-party apps detected by the Dragons AntiCheat. The type of detection (DLL Injector, ESP/Overlay, Cheatengine, Windows Hook, etc.) will be logged as well as the app's process name and folder. Please note that the logs are aggressive and may log apps which are not hacks, we have whitelisted over 20 common apps such as Steam, Discord, nVidia, AMD, and many others. We will continue to whitelist more safe apps in future versions of the Dragons AntiCheat. These logs may aid Server Admins by indicating whether or not cheats are being used.

• Reshade has been blacklisted as an anti-cheat measure unless user is a server admin (this allows admins to use it on their own servers if they want to). If not an admin, the user will be kicked from the server and the server will log the violation.

• Known hacks have been blacklisted as an anti-cheat measure and will result in a kick from the server and the type of hack being logged onto the server.

• Implemented 256bit Network Packet Encryption to prevent Packet-sniffer/Radar hacks as an anti-cheat measure

• Implemented REDACTED methods to break current ESP hacks as an anti-cheat measure

• Fixed a vulnerability where a hacker could force the server to log an event of their own description

• DragonsNoEAC.exe binary has been deprecated, EasyAntiCheat is now mandatory to play the game as an AntiCheat measure.

• Implemented specialized methods to break any new hacks with every new patch.

FIXES:

• Fixed an issue where server announcements and shutdown prompts were not printing to server log

• Fixed the tooltip description for the Whisper button in admin panel

• Fixed an issue with Hover takeoff applying vertical velocity

• Fixed an issue where Hover Ascent/Descent would not always work immediately after hovering

• Fixed several Biolumin Skin Doodad Emissives

OTHER

• Brood NPC's are back on the Testing / DM server to allow quest/unlock of Brood Watcher for testing
