Repeated intro
Hello everyone! Finally, here’s the 1.2 update, the second major update we have released for DoA since we left Early Access. This update includes several additions, improvements and bug fixes suggested by the community. We have redesigned the tech tree, implemented AI improvements, rebalanced several areas of the game including economy, added an option for exclusive fullscreen as well as lots of bug fixes. Additionally the beta of the russian version is now available for testing, with the final build coming very soon. Thanks everyone for the support, suggestions and help so far, and we hope you keep it coming as we have more updates and patches coming soon. Full changelog for this build below:

Dawn of Andromeda changes
Added/improved
Redesigned tech tree
Rebalanced chances of invasion events (civilians killed, infrastructure destroyed, etc)
Added Exclusive Fullscreen
Added option to disable UI (ideal to take screenshots and videos)
Improved AI’s handling of exploration, and have their empire radius and distance to other factions affect their decision making or improve their decision making in several aspects such as declaring war, starting a new trade route, willingness to have peaceful relations, etc
Improved AI’s handling of certain diplomacy proposals (unrelated to above), both when received proposals and sending them
Got rid of some leftover assets that weren't being used and left a small memory imprint
Tweaked Research menu to accommodate tech tree changes
AI of special factions such as the Kri has been rebalanced to work slightly different from other factions
Rebalanced rebel factions and their chances of showing up
The AI makes now better and more frequent use of Truce deal instead of proposing peace deals under certain circumstances
Implemented performance improvements
Some events and respective options have been rebalanced
Eras survival targets have been decreased
Improved some animation loops of certain characters
Optimized certain menus to have less of an impact on the CPU
Took out some unnecessary text in Research menu to reduce clutter
You can now add or remove a tech to your research queue by double clicking on its icon
Taxes income is now reduced by half if empire controls a certain amount of planets
Tourism is now decreased by half if empire is at war

Fixed game not recognizing when players fully explored the map after unlocking the Spacetime Manipulation tech
Fixed ships getting stuck on portals after loading a game
Fixed custom races being available to be used twice when creating a new game, if player choose a custom race as his starting race
Fixed description for the Era 2 achievement
Fixed tooltips and menus text that said “Producting” instead of “Producing”
Fixed game playing in the background, even if window is minimized
Fixed destroyer of world and mass repair not working
Fixed AI ships getting frozen and not being used under certain conditions
Fixed various typos found throughout the game
Fixed certain tooltips occasionally not activating
Fixed AI automatically declining a proposal wrongly assuming the sender is at war
Fixed player having 1 extra investment point when invading another faction’s planet
Fixed 6th weapon slot showing blasters in Units and Ship Design Creation screens
Fixed units losing their rank after loading a game under certain conditions
Fixed music not looping correctly after loading a game (order would get messed and certain tracks wouldn’t play)
Fixed rare instance when units would stop before they were supposed to when sent orders individually
Fixed game playing in the background, even if window is minimized
Fixed rare instance where the event window couldn’t be minimized after pressing the respective button and an answer had to be given to close it
Fixed rare instance where Influence growth would be significantly decreased until the game was loaded again
Fixed double clicking sometimes not working correctly and camera moving out to wrong unit or planet
Fixed various save system related bugs
Fixed bug in which random nameless player with no name could send a proposal
Fixed Era related Achievments not being activated after saving and loading a Era game
Fixed "Defeat player X" victory condition not being properly activated
