hello! patch again! another patch! yippee!
heeeyyy this should hopefully be the final patch for divinity mimicry!! the next major update is coming soon so be on the lookout for that.... theres some pretty cool stuff this patch so lets just get right into it!
general changes
a new play menu has been added, which supports saving and loading for both singleplayer and multiplayer games. - currently you can have basically as many saves as you want, but this will likely be changed in the future cuz i dont want to have issues with too many saves crashing games on startup - if you have any issues with saves please let me know in our discord server ! i want to make sure this feature specifically works as smoothly as possible :3
fractured mask enemy in the void has been removed, a new miniboss has taken its place
tweaked cursor detection for buttons to make the visuals of the cursor match better with where its actually placed
added indication for what enemy is coming up in the next combat room
added icons for active runes in combat (it was hard to tell if they were doing anything sometimes LOL)
revamped visuals for a few icons and environments
screenshake has been adjusted, should be more visually striking now
toggles for both screenshake and screen swaying have been added to the options menu
balance changes
runes are weird and i want them to feel stronger. they are very powerful right now, they just dont really give off the feeling of being powerful especially since most of their strength comes from leveling up. i want to change this and make a few runes feel a little more interesting
rune scaling has been adjusted slightly, runes that provide stat boosts should now be much stronger earlier on and should now smooth out as they scale. runes will still provide the same boost as before when you reach max level.
a few duplicate stat runes have been removed
every single rune has had a slight adjustment to make them a little better (aside from the vigor runes, those are fine)
4 new runes have been added along with 2 unique status effects that are currently exclusive to runes
bug fixes
fixed weakness icon and description not displaying properly
looping should now work as intended, instead of... y'know.... not..... working....
