Hi guys,

There were a few features that didn't make it into the latest major camera update because we ran out of time. We're happy to say they're now ready!

New "Overwatch" Camera Mode

We've added a brand new third person camera mode called Overwatch. It provides a much wider and farther camera view, giving you better awareness of your surroundings and allowing you to see more of what's happening behind your character.

When using melee weapons, you can tilt the camera downward to create a view similar to a top down perspective, making melee combat feel more tactical. Ranged weapons still require aiming in the direction of your target as usual.

To enable Overwatch Camera:

Options → General → Third-person Camera & Aim → Melee Attack or Ranged Attack Camera → Overwatch

Camera Improvements

  • Increased the original Top Down camera view distance from 17 to 20, allowing you to see even more of the battlefield.

  • Improved camera behavior so the higher you raise the camera angle, the farther your view distance becomes.

  • Fixed a camera issue that could occur when switching views beneath arched structures.

Bug Fixes

We've also fixed several difficult to reproduce bugs. Thanks to the detailed reports and tips from our players, we were able to track them down and resolve them.

One notable fix addresses an issue where players could fall through the ground while performing melee attacks in certain areas of town.

Thank you so much for your continued support! We'll be releasing the Wardrobe System in early August, so stay tuned for more updates!

Best,

Mirari
