addedPiN Update Cult of PiN Update: A new name and a new demo!
addedPlaceholders, make way, PiN has finally been replaced with a full title: Cult of PiN ! Not a massive change, but now that I've finalised the Table names ( Cult of Blood , Cult of Pestilence , Cult of the Deep and Cult of the Unnamed ), Cult of PiN seemed like a good fit. To celebrate, there's a new demo, v0.8.36d, with 10 Glyphs removed and 20 new ones added in, making for 40 playable glyphs (the final game will have 100).
addedNew Gylphs: I've reworked and rebalanced a lot of the Glyphs, and thought the demo was limited in choice so hey, have 40 to chose from instead.
fixedBug Fixes: First, a huge thank you to everyone whohas been reporting bugs and providing feedback, I think I've fixed up almost all of the major ones so far. No persistant curses or Glyph effects between runs, fixes for glyphs not doing as they should and yes, now you can finally sell Glyphs in the shop again. Oops.
changedBalance pass: Loads here, it's probably easier to just play and see what you think :)
changedI am priviledged enough to be able to say that the wonderful Yogscast team have selected Cult of PiN for their annual Tiny Teams Steam Festival, and as such I'll be tidying up a Beta build with 3 tables and 70 Glyphs for them to try in the coming weeks.

Changelist (Not everything, but the highlights)

  • New GylphsI've reworked and rebalanced a lot of the Glyphs, and thought the demo was limited in choice so hey, have 40 to chose from instead.
  • Physics tweaks: This is ongoing, I'm consantly making changes to the flipper strength, angles and ball weights, please continue to let me know what you think as I'm going out my mind over minute details.

What's Next

I am priviledged enough to be able to say that the wonderful Yogscast team have selected Cult of PiN for their annual Tiny Teams Steam Festival, and as such I'll be tidying up a Beta build with 3 tables and 70 Glyphs for them to try in the coming weeks.

On top of that, CoP was also selected as a semi-finalist for the Glasgow Independant games Festival, which means I can't ignore my old, single-table, old-named trailer any more so prepare to see a new trailer with some shots of the other tables in the next week or so. Also, if you'd like to be a Beta tester for the upcoming changes, please, please do reach out!

Happy Flipping!

Kenny
