changedI'll start with news first - first up, after 2 months of grinding, the game is almost totally done . I've been eyeing up release dates, however, due to some final tweaks and changes I still want to get in and all the Steam events that take place over summer mean that launching in June (as had been my plan for a while) was the worst possible time to launch. After pouring over various dates and calendars, I can now announce that the game will be released in August 2026. This is later than I had hoped and I am so very sorry to keep everyone waiting a little while longer, however I'd never forgive myself if - after almost 2 years of work - I messed up the launch by rushing the game out before it was ready (or in the middle of a major Steam event without any visibility).
addedGiven that the game will be out a bit later than I was originally intending, I've decided a demo patch with some of the features that I've been working was literally the least I could do - so there are major Bonus Table changes, Boss spells , Time-based Leaderboards , Steam Achievements , Cloud Saves (Steam Deck now fully supported), new Glyph Traits and a whole lot more. On top of this, I've finally been able to give the game a proper graphical optimisation pass, meaning the game should now be running much smoother, especially on low-end devices and in the browser.
changedFinally, as always, an enormous thank you for all the wonderful comments, bug reports and feedback - at this late stage these are even more helpful than usual so please, keep 'em coming. Also an obligatory reminder I have a Discord server for the game, so please come and say hi. And if you haven't already, please give the game a wishlist on Steam!
addedNew Features & Steam Integration
addedSteam Achievements & Cloud Saves: Some Steam Achievements have been added to the Demo, and your progress now transfers between devices when running the game on Steam. Steam Deck is now fully suported
addedNew Leaderboards: Compete for the Highest Score or the Fastest Time with the new run duration tracking. A new element on the UI shows how the current run timer. I'm aware this currently give an advantage to players on lower difficulties, however I am working on unique leaderboards for each difficulty in the near future.

Hi all,

It's been more than a hot minute, apologies but I am back now with a fairly major update and some (hopefully) exciting news about the launch so thank you all for your continued patience!

There have also been some major tutorial updates and a load of text fixes, and yes there are still a few bugs kicking about that I hope to address in the next week or so, but I am aiming to get another patch out within the next few weeks.

Finally, as always, an enormous thank you for all the wonderful comments, bug reports and feedback - at this late stage these are even more helpful than usual so please, keep 'em coming. Also an obligatory reminder I have a Discord server for the game, so please come and say hi. And if you haven't already, please give the game a wishlist on Steam!
