Cubic Annihilation changes
Ok, so just a small update/progress of v0.7 coming in a few weeks.
So let's take a look at what I've been working on.
Minimap:
Steam post imageCA is getting a fully functional minimap, not just a way to see where things are on the battlefield.
Minimap features:
Giving orders to units on the minimap.
Different minimap pings to show importance in certain areas (e.g when you're getting attacked, it pings minimap).
Player custom pings, you're gonna be able to ping locations on the map or minimap for other players to see.
A camera that moves when u click or drag the minimap.
These may seem like standard features, but it's worth mentioning them.
Upgradable Turrets:
| LT The LT from T1 to T3 is gonna be a beast. It's already nice damage vs most units will be buffed per tier, making this a very strong late-game turret. | Steam post image |
| MGT The MGT already accelerates vs light units in the early game, but drops off later, when tanks and other units start rolling out. MGT, now being upgraded, can even train Minigun Troopers from T3 MGT. | Steam post image |
| Shredder Shredder... is a shredder... but T2 gets even more Shreddy... Firing twice as many blades as T1, it packs a punch vs light units. And T3... well lets just say it's broken... | Steam post image |
| Napalm Lobber Napalm Lobber turret is a awsome turret even up to T3, but now having its own T2 and T3, it's even stronger than before. | Steam post image |

| MORE DEFENCE UPGRADES This is only so far; more defence upgrades are coming, like Shield Generator, AoEMT, Railgun, and much more. |
Commander Respawning:
What's that sound..."OH CRAP... my commander just died in like 1 sec... ah well", this ain't gonna happen anymore. Commander respawning will now be in CA. With a 15s cooldown and a 400 cubic cost, this makes losing your commander painful but not game-over.
Secret Weapon:
Steam post imageJust a small hint, it may be large and slow.
Bugs I've Squashed:
Building a shipyard caused the commander to wander into the wilderness.
Fixed D-Gun projectile going off for other players on the server.
Fixed win triggering if 6 players were in a lobby and the game started with the master.
