This brings major QoL improvements

A lot of defensive buildings can NOW be UPGRADED:

Turrets and defensive buildings can now be upgraded from tier 1 to tier 3, each tier changes the defences' stats but also their functions.

Defences that can be upgraded are:

  1. LT

  2. MGT

  3. Bunker

  4. Shredder

  5. Napalm Lobber

  6. Pounder

Still to be added:

  1. Railgun

  2. Detection Tower

  3. Shield Generator

  4. AOE MT

What's new that didn't make the headlines?

Well... many things:

Additions:

  • Flamethrower tank called (Dragon Tank), C&Cg players will love this one.

  • Minimap has now been added to Cubic Annihilation.

  • Commander Respawn: If your commander dies, you can now respawn him back onto the battlefield.

  • New Ping SystemPing directly onto the battlefield with the new SC2-inspired ping system.
  • UI refresh, all ui and fonts have been improved.

  • A new type of defence, called a"Boosting Tower", boosts a single defence or building (Super cool).

  • Removed Boombike, dealing damage to surrounding friendly units such as other boombikes when it died.

  • 2 New fun and easy 3v3 maps added: - Frosty Lane: A simple frost map where teams are close together, and there are 2 lines to each enemy base. - Fields: A nice open forest map with large spaces and cool ways to go around terrain.

  • Quickly select all for each production building type.

  • You no longer need resources to switch or select a building.

  • The game can no longer start if there are not at least 1 bot or another player.

  • Added player stats after each game, so you can get an idea of what u did.

  • Selling damaged buildings now gives you less cubic back, so if a building is only at 40% hp, it'll only give back 40% of the spent resources.

  • Loadout Presets that you can switch to if you're unsure what to pick.

  • Units now follow the Carrier when ordered to go inside; this was an issue before, causing loading and unloading to feel odd and not correct.

  • Lowered the range of the Humvee attack so units inside can fire when the Humvee is attack-moving.

YEAH!!! Balance Changes, here we come!:

Garrison:

  • HunterDamage vs "Buildings" increased from 10 to 18 .

Factory:

  • HumveeAttack range decreased from 18 to 15 .
  • HumveeAttack reload decreased from 1.5s to 0.75s .
  • FuryAttack reload decreased from 1.5s to 1.15s .
  • Combat BikeHP increased from 90 to 100 .

Hoverpad:

  • HowlerDamage increased from 7 to 9 .
  • HowlerDamage vs "Heaver" increased from 10 to 13 .

Shipyard:

  • EchoDamage of Torpedo attack increased from 25 to 100.
  • EchoDamage vs "Heavy" of Torpedo attack increased from 50 to 200.
  • EchoSpeed of Torpedo projectile increased from 10 to 13 .
  • EchoMovement speed increased from 5 to 8 .
  • BomberBuild time decreased from 15s to 7s.
  • FighterBuild time decreased from 15s to 7s.

Other Balance Changes:

  • Bunker: Units inside now get a flat +2 attack range.

  • Commander: Flame Gun now uses the flame mechanic.

  • CommanderSniper Rifle Attack reload decreased from 3.5s to 2s .

So... A few new items have been added to the loadout:

Dragon Tank - Factory

Projects a sweeping stream of flame that damages all units in a line. The rotating turret spreads fire in a wide arc, effective against groups.

Boosting Tower - Defence

Boosts a single nearby defence or production building with powerful stat bonuses.

Bug Fixes...

  • The shipyard build bug is fixed.

  • Fixed a bug causing a small window to upgrade the HQ again after the upgrade was completed.

  • Fixed a bug where if the commander was destroyed and there were still ghost buildings, it wouldn't clean those up and give back resources.

  • Fixed a bug causing units inside the haulier to get pushed off when the haulier travelled on water.

  • Fixed a bug causing the commander to jitter if he was building and attacking at the same time.

  • Removed battle warning when a building is sold, upgraded, or cancelled.

  • Removed lag when music changes in-game.

So I have NO idea why you're down here, but go play the update, like for real, go PLAY it!
