Crystal Gaiden Origins changes
Crystal Gaiden Origins receives another round of improvements and fixes!
1- Pit Respawn in Normal Difficulty.
No more instant kills in Normal. You now respawn safely at the edge of the pit.
You will still lose 1 HP, but the game is now much more fun to explore.
2- New Sub Weapon: The Shield Low on HP? Died right before finishing the boss? Say hello to the Shield. This brand new sub weapon grants you a few seconds of invincibility.
Use it wisely, especially if you are aiming to defeat the final boss on Hard.
3- Updated Details for Multiple Endings We received a lot of feedback and questions about the good ending, especially around Chi'Lang saying he could not save the world. Et voila - the ending now has a lot more detail and clarity instead of feeling like riddles.
The game has also been adjusted slightly. For example: Chi'Lang's memento note is now hidden in Normal runs, while other characters notes remain visible. Steam post image
4- Gameplay Adjustments
Adjusted checkpoint placement in later stages for a slightly fairer challenge.
5- Minor Fixes
Fixed missing character issues in certain languages.
Fixed a cutscene issue where text would unexpectedly jump to the next line.
