Crush the Industry changes
Hello friends!
We've had an unexpectedly busy month outside of the office, but we've got some new content for you anyway.
The focus for this update cycle was mostly on filling out underrepresented build paths. Defensive, Decay, and Pure Damage all received some upgrades. Self-Burn skills/talents were toned down slightly. Additionally, Dodge was reworked to be more strategical and beneficial to the player. The new Purge skill provides an alternative to Dispel for countering negative status effects. Snap becomes stronger if your Sanity is low (more of this to come).
Here's a full list of the changes:
Added new status effect: Turn Decay.
Added new talents: Pure Power, Guarded, Beefy, Last Gasp.
Added new skills: Code Rot, Crop Dust, Stonewall, Purge, Rest, Snap.
Purist talent reworked.
Dodge status effect reworked to only trigger after Armor/Block.
Added a "Go Back" button when upgrading or adding skills.
Out of Touch talent adjusted to be less out of touch.
Fart skill now deals Pure Damage, just like real farts.
Burn values adjusted for Trial By Fire, Macho Madness, and Midnight Oil.
Adjusted Health roll to be more forgiving when ending battles at close to 0 Health.
Lots of minor bug fixes.
In the coming weeks, I'll be working on expanding the Corporate Hell difficulty level, adding boss behavior variations, and more. If you haven't already, consider joining the Discord channel to tell us what you'd like to see and stay up to date on what we've got in the works.
