Crown & Coin: The Hundred Years changes
We are thrilled to announce that the Steam store page for Crown & Coin: The Hundred Years, a medieval historical sandbox RPG set during the Hundred Years' War (1337-1453), is now live!
In this game, you are not a god looking down on history. You play as a single human being surviving in a medieval Europe stained with blood, mud, and ambition.
■ Core Features of the Game
1,015 Real Historical Figures: From the Black Prince and Joan of Arc to obscure mercenary captains and the Bourgeois of Paris—all 1,015 figures are fully playable.
Overwhelming Freedom: Swear loyalty as a knight, corner markets as a merchant, burn villages as a bandit, or even cure the plague as a miracle doctor. Your playstyle is infinite.
- Usurpation of HistoryEstablish your own new nation, hold a coronation in Reims, and brutally demote the former French royal family to the mere "Duchy of Valois."
■ Future Development Roadmap
We are currently targeting a release in Q2 2026. Development is in full swing as we integrate massive amounts of historical data, test AI behaviors, and craft events that generate muddy human drama. Going forward, we plan to regularly share development progress and our obsessive dedication to historical accuracy (Developer Diaries) right here in the news section.
If you find this concept interesting, please consider adding the game to your Wishlist! For a solo developer, your Wishlists are the absolute best motivation to keep pushing forward.
Will you wear the Crown, or drive the world mad with Coin? We look forward to the day you paint your very own Hundred Years' War.
