Show off your skills in the Mercenary Contest!

A brand-new Cross Blitz update is here, and with it, the arrival of 5 new fierce Mercenaries to shake up your strategies!

To celebrate, we’re kicking off a Mercenary Contest alongside the update’s release, and we want you to show us what these new recruits can really do.

Think you've got what it takes to pull off a killer combo?

Show us your skills with one of the new Mercenaries by capturing a short gameplay highlight (max 10 seconds), a clutch moment, a satisfying synergy, or just some clean tactical wizardry!

How to participate:

1. Play with any of the 5 new Mercenaries introduced in the latest update:

   1. Professor Gearhart (Fortune - Traps)

   2. Sawnose Sid (Balance - Devour)

   3. Bang (War - Bombs)

   4. Abraxas (Chaos - Discard/Dragons)

   5. Kor (Nature - Archer)

2. Record a short, snappy clip (max 10s) showing off your best play.

3. Share your clip on X (Twitter), Bluesky, Threads, or Reddit (r/CrossBlitz_).

4. Tag us at @/TheArcadeCrew on X and Threads, @thearcadecrew.bsky.social on Bluesky, and use the hashtag #CrossBlitzMercs!

   1. Please note that we will only consider one entry per contestant, no matter how many videos they submit.

Prizes:

We’ll crown 5 winners, one for each new mercenary, and each winner will receive:

• A $25 Steam Gift Card

• 1 Steam key for one of our The Arcade Crew games

But that’s not all! Selected highlights will be featured in a montage on our official YouTube channel as a mini-trailer for the update!

The contest starts now, and you have until July 13th to submit your video. The winners will be announced around mid-July.

🎥 Recording Guidelines (Tech Specs):

To ensure your clip can be included in the final video:

• Post your clip in the native resolution of the platform you’re using (no stress about hitting specific requirements for your post!).

• If you’re selected as a winner, we’ll contact you to ask for your original, highest quality version of the clip (ideally 1920x1080 minimum, 60 FPS, .mp4 or .mov format).

• Make sure to disable music, microphones, and background apps so we can clearly hear the game audio.

• Keep audio levels consistent across clips.
