Crawl To The Depths changes
Hi all,
Thank you to everyone who's played the demo so far and helped with reporting any issues that you have encountered. This update is aimed to fix those issues as well as doing a lot of reworking to the game's balance which I promised in the last update.
Patch Notes
Balance Changes
I have completely overhauled a the games balance to make the game a little easier and more forgiving to the player.
Damage falloff now works correctly and is a lot less severe, the revolver damage for example is a lot more consistent at longer ranges now
The HP of all the enemies has been completely reworked. Overall the enemies should now be slightly less tanky than they were before
Added back settings such as difficulty levels which were not there before due to a bug. I would love to see someone complete the demo on Bedrock difficulty!
Added a flashing warning to remind you to heal when on low health
Made fall damage more forgiving, you can now survive great falls with a sliver of HP left as long as you aren't low on health already
Added peaceful mode setting
Bug Fixes
Fixed a critical problem on Mac where loading any level would crash the game to desktop. This is fine because nobody played the game on Mac
The game should show up on the correct screen if playing with two monitors now
Re-added window mode setting
Fixed a bug where the game would warn you about skipping the tutorial when clicking the tutorial button
Husks no longer spawn at the entrance to the first level
Mineshafts no longer can generate into the temple in level 1
Redundant upgrades (upgrades which are a downgrade in every aspect) do not appear in the upgrades menu anymore
