addedI wanted to make a quick announcement about the games release date and a new demo on Steam that should be coming soon. I'm going to be as transparent as possible just so everyone is correctly informed on the state of the game at the moment as well.
addedFirstly, in terms of the game's development itself, things are going pretty smoothly. Feedback from a small group of playtesters has gone well, and the first section of the game is almost complete. I am mostly working on polish, bug fixes and getting a few last things implemented now. I am expecting to be able to release a new demo very shortly, which will cover the first three levels of the game. I will then try to work various other bug fixes and improvements before I start work on second half.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to make a quick announcement about the games release date and a new demo on Steam that should be coming soon. I'm going to be as transparent as possible just so everyone is correctly informed on the state of the game at the moment as well.

Firstly, in terms of the game's development itself, things are going pretty smoothly.

As time goes on I've been working on features less and content more, so hopefully that will culminate in me being able to create levels and content a lot faster. Basically all of the major systems are done, and its mostly the minor things that I'm working on now. Once that's done I'm hoping the remaining levels (of which I am hoping there are six in total) will go past fairly quickly.

Now, In terms of the release date itself, unfortunately I'm likely to push back the release date a couple months, TBC. The primary contributing factor to this is mostly external stuff due to upcoming exam dates and me starting a full-time job this summer. I don't think it's impossible to release as I planned, but I'm not sure if I would be happy with the game's state if I did, and regardless I haven't built up enough traction yet to make releasing worthwhile at the moment anyway.

In any case, I will be releasing a demo very shortly, and then from there I will reevaluate if I need to push back the release date or not. If I do, it most likely will be pushed back to around October/November time so that I can enter the next round of Steam Next Fest. I will get this game finished soon though; I want this game to release as much as you do!

Thank you everyone who's supported me so far!
