📢 Development Update – The World Sharpens, The Vision Deepens
Over the past few months, the project has undergone some of its most transformative changes yet. Every system, every visual, every piece of narrative scaffolding is being reforged to bring the game closer to the experience we’ve always envisioned.
🎙️ Voices Enter the World
We’ve officially locked in a powerful cast of voice talent. Their performances are already reshaping the emotional tone of the story — adding weight, personality, and tension to moments that previously lived only on the page. Hearing these characters breathe for the first time has been a defining milestone.
🎨 A New Artistic Identity
Our art direction has evolved dramatically. We’re now utilising striking, atmospheric artwork sourced from DeviantArt creator MaverickGuyver whose styles align with the darker, more mature tone of the world. This shift has sharpened the game’s visual identity and brought a level of intensity that better reflects the themes at play.
🔞 Age Rating Reassessment – Now 15+ Worldwide
With the updated art direction comes a necessary change: the game will now carry an 18+ rating across all countries. This decision follows a full review of the new visual content — particularly the graphic nature of certain scenes depicted on the cards themselves. The mature rating ensures the game is presented responsibly and sets clear expectations for players entering this world.
🛠️ Engine Upgrade – UE4.27 → UE5.5
We’re deep into a full engine migration to Unreal Engine 5.5. This overhaul unlocks modern lighting systems, improved performance, enhanced physics, and a more future‑proof foundation for everything we’re building. It’s a massive undertaking, but the benefits are already visible across the board.
🗺️ Revamped World Map Visuals
The world map has undergone a complete visual overhaul to match the new artistic direction. Every region, border, and point of interest has been re‑illustrated with sharper contrast, richer atmosphere, and a more cohesive tone that aligns with the darker, more mature identity of the game.
This isn’t just a cosmetic pass — the map now feels like an artifact from within the world itself. Textures, lighting, and iconography have all been updated to reflect the new DeviantArt‑inspired style, giving players a clearer sense of place and a stronger connection to the narrative stakes.
The map is now both a functional tool and a piece of world‑building in its own right.
🎮 Four New Game Modes in Development
We’ve expanded the gameplay offering with four new modes, each introducing fresh mechanics, pacing, and replayability. These modes broaden the ways players can engage with the world — from strategic depth to high‑pressure decision‑making. More details will surface as each mode reaches showcase readiness.
📘 Demo Status – A True Prologue
The demo isn’t a disconnected preview. It is the official prologue to the main game — a narrative Chapter Zero. It introduces key characters, sets the tone, and establishes the early threads of the story that will carry directly into the full release. Your first steps in the demo matter, and they echo forward.

Amira’s Tale serves as the official prologue to the main game — the first chapter in a much larger journey. It follows Amira, an inquisitive young woman driven by curiosity, instinct, and a relentless desire to uncover the truth behind the world’s most elite players. Her path begins with simple questions, but quickly spirals into something far greater: a search for answers, identity, and the challenge of facing the best of the best.
This prologue introduces the emotional core of the story, the early threads of the overarching mystery, and the first steps that will eventually lead Amira into the heart of the main narrative. Choices made here echo forward, shaping the tone of the adventure to come.
