🛠️ ContractVille Update – 1.7 Patch Notes
Alongside the sale and the new DLC, we’re also rolling out an update focused on environment improvements, optimization, and stability fixes.
🌆 Environment Improvements
Rebalanced NPC density in city districts.
Fixed several LOD (Level of Detail) issues in the city area.
Updated environments in the port town, airport, and factory regions.
🎮 Gameplay & Mission Adjustments
Reworked the garage entrance of the second office for improved accessibility.
Fixed door and window location issues in decoration quest houses.
Updated furniture setups for more consistent placement.
⚙️ Optimization & Technical Improvements
Adjusted NPC LOD levels for improved performance.
Optimized several expensive materials discovered during testing.
Revised actor counts across the world.
We are continuing to work on a more permanent solution for this.
Plus various small adjustments and improvements.
👷 NPC Workers Improvements
Fixed NPC workers interacting with boxes held by the player while the player is in Placement Mode.
Fixed an issue where NPC workers could remain stuck in the previous phase animation (plastering/painting) while installing crown moldings and baseboards.
Fixed NPC worker reset behavior so Manual Walk is disabled after reset to prevent unintended clipping (e.g., passing through walls or getting stuck under stairs) and potential soft-locks.
Fixed an issue where NPC workers could randomly run to the world origin (0,0,0) before, during, or after executing tasks.
Fixed 3-star and 5-star NPC workers getting stuck / failing to install hardware during the hardware installation phase of Build Missions.
Fixed Auto-Work not activating properly after save/load while NPC workers are present in the world, which could leave them inactive until manually reset.
Fixed NPC workers being unable to install archways as interior doors.
