Steam post image Hello dear employees! We just wanted to check in and let you know that development is going great and we've got lots of exciting things in place for the full release. And since seeing is believing, here's a look at some of what we've been up to...
Visuals
We've really been storming ahead on new splash screens for unique situations and conversations you'll have with the PALE-HORSE crew. We can't wait for you to see them in all their glory but for now, here's a Ms Jones -themed sneak peek:
We've also been making lots more faxes/news bulletins for you to read in your downtime. They're a great way to get really immersed in the world of Contact Protocol and- wait... what is that?
Mechanics
There's plenty we can't share just yet when it comes to new mechanics... watch this space >_>
Otherwise, we've been refining procedural ships - the encounters that'll be different every playthrough. We're making them feel as natural and lifelike as possible. Eventually, with some expert coding and a bit of luck, they'll feel just as polished as the story-related ships.

We're not planning to attend as many conventions as we have previously BUT we are involved in some online festivals. Keep an eye out for news on which ones >_>
What's Next
Believe me when I saw we have REALLY EXCITING stuff in the works that you'll just have to wait to see. I promise. If that ends up being a lie, I'll give you a tenner.
