Mechanics
Difficulty can now be changed in options. Right now this just adjusts ship speed, but we're open to other difficulty settings! Drop in on the Discord if you've got ideas.
Visuals
We have new buttons on the dashboard for the power and fire control switches. There's also a mystery third switch. If you'd like to get your hands on the system it controls, join the playtest group on our Discord.
Bug Fixes
The chat log should no longer spam messages about the operator disabling fire control
Fixed some instances of "choicePreview" showing up in text, or text not coming from the player when it should. These are localisation teething issues. Drop a bug report if you find any more!
The 'data shared promptly' paperwork score award now only triggers if do send it pretty much immediately.
Known Issues
Sometimes trying to underline text in the notepad doesn't work for some users. If this happens to you, please drop a bug report. We've added some extra data in the reports to help track it down.
Occasionally text in the comms logger may overlap strangely. Again, please let us know if this happens.
Our 16:10 aspect ratio support involves cropping rather than black bars. It's on our list - we're sorry for any 16:10 users who can't see Rox-E's full dance.
What's Next
We're still working on the full game, but when those changes can be integrated into the demo, we'll do it to get the data on how it feels.
We've got some more accessibility features in the pipe (font size options for your main console is the main one)
