Claws & Chaos changes
It’s been a bit more than a week of gameplay since we added the Ranked System to Rapture Mode, and in this patch we’ve continued to refine the system. This patch will be live in about 30 minutes, at 11am ET.
We also have added new achievements (Bucket List Missions) for you pro autobattlers. And of course, some UI tweaks and combat balances.
Here’s everything new and changed in Claws & Chaos v1.08.18:
System Changes
Ranked System adjustments are being made after the first week of gameplay to increase visibility and feel.
Weekly Decay is being reduced from -50 > -25. Rewards remain the same.
Information about rewards and decay will now show up as a popup every time a player begins a rapture run.
Weekly Leaderboard rewards will show a shiny new animation when rewards are available to collect.
Added Rank display row on Player Profile cards.
New Bucket List Missions (Achievements) added for all the ranked tiers from Silver to Masters.
Removed the Reach Rapture wave 30 mission, since that’s no longer possible.
UI / UX
Adjusted timing on the “Shining Paw” animation in Thief’s Haul animation.
Changed shine particle on Thief’s Haul button to a red dot when it’s ready.
Added a Discord button reminder of the Free Skin (Wumpus!).
Combat Balances
Small adjustments on the higher win rate units meant to tamper down the impact of econ a bit more. Unethical Developer Gibbon is also being indirectly nerfed with the Poison adjustments.
Poison Status Effect
Formula changed from a flat 1 HP/sec to 3% Max HP/sec per stack
Plague Rat
ATK decreased 7 > 6
Koala Businessman
ATK 7->6 Range 4->3
Monkey Shaman
Ability reduced: Passive: All consumables give [4|8|12] extra HP (down from 5/10/15)
Note: Monkey Shaman abilities do not stack if there are more than one on the battlefield.
Monkey Guardian
Ability reduced: Immune to the first [2|3|4] attacks taken (down from 3/4/5)
Tanuki Archer
ATK decreased 10 > 8
Ability changed to: Gain 1 ATK ([1|2|3]x per turn)
Capy Guardian
Ability changed to: On Attack: Give all allies [2|4|6] Shield. Gives self [2|4|6] more
Tanuki Bandit
HP increased 37 > 40
Rabbit Blacksmith
ATK SPD increased 0.67 > 0.8
