Claws & Chaos changes
We’ve just dropped an important new update to the Claws & Chaos demo, introducing the new Monkey Family, cosmetics to customize your creatures and battlefields, localization for a bunch of languages, adjustments to the economy, and a ton more.
Before we get into the specifics, we have a cosmetic sneak peak to share…Starting today, check out the OTK Network crew of streamers to catch a glimpse of their very own in-game creature skins - Asmongold as a Raccoon, Sodapoppin as a SlimeCat, Emiru as a Rabbit, and more! These skins aren’t in the demo for everyone yet, you’ll have to wait a bit longer to get your hands on them.

System Updates
Localization has been added for the following languages
Chinese, Traditional & Simplified
Japanese
Korean
German
Combat Cloud Save
Players can now exit and rejoin a session later! This is available in both Campaign and Arena mode.
Cosmetic Features and Economy adjustments
Gem system has been removed - introducing new Acoins and Tickets currencies.
Earn Acoins by doing Daily Missions - spend them on Thieve’s Haul to earn Creature Cosmetics. (Note: cosmetics earned in the demo will not carry over to the full game at launch.)
Earn Tickets from Lifetime achievements and Arena fights - spend them on Battlefield Skins.
Equip Hats and Costumes for your Creatures in the Unit Details screen.
Change your Battlefield backdrop via in-combat settings menu.
UI / UX Adjustments
Combat
Unit Descriptions adjusted to highlight Keywords.
In-combat Settings popup UI adjusted to add new functionality: Battlefield customization button + Save & Exit
Shop slots frame cleaned up to get rid of extra gray border behind Equipment and Consumables.
Fixed “Not enough gold” message popping up as you Lock shop slots with no gold.
Campaign Cutscene changes
Full illustrations are now animated!
Cutscenes will Fade out at the end for a smoother transition.
Settings Page UI size increased
Social media links added to Profile tab.
Font size increased.
Combat Changes
Healing (such as Aura and Passive Regeneration) ticks every second instead of every 2 seconds.
Heart Regain mechanic to ease the pain of early game losses:
When a player reaches 5 Wins, they can Heal back a lost Heart!
Added Equipment refund when replacing a hero’s equipment
To ease the pain of early game equipment investments, you can get 1G back from replacing items. So go ahead and replace that Scarf with a Gun.
Purchasing of identical Equipment on a Hero is now restricted, so you don’t waste Gold accidentally.
Bug Fixes
Audio BGM, SFX settings should now save properly between sessions.
Setting Audio sliders to 0 will now properly mute the game.
Fixed Fox Thief ability granting the wrong amount of Cloaking (7s instead of 5s)
Roster Balance Bears:
Blearic
Healing changed from 2/4/6 per 2 sec -> 1/2/3 per 1 sec
No change in total healing over time due to healing tick change.
Rodents
Capybara
HP 70 -> 55
Ability heals for twice as much as it did before due to healing change.
Rabbits
Rabbit Trait Bonus
CRIT Chance per level 20% -> 15%. Now capped at 3 stacks, down from 4 stacks.
Books Bunny
ATK 5 -> 7
ATK Speed 0.67 -> 1
New Ability - On Crit: Stun target for 1/1.5/2 sec
Rabbit Necromancer
ATK 2 -> 8
New Ability - Battle Start: Summon a Lv 1/2/3 Skeleton. On Crit, summon another (3/4/5x per battle
Rabbit Plague Doctor
ATK 5 -> 6
ATK Speed 0.67 -> 1

New Ability - On Crit: Heal all allies for 4/6/8 HP
Added back into Arena Rotation
Angora Grammy

New Ability - Replace first shop item with a free Gun
(We were told Angora Grammy wasn’t packing enough heat. Attack animation adjusted to reflect her new concealed carry.)

New Family: Monkeys
Monkey Trait Bonus:
All Monkeys get +10HP for each stack of Trait Bonus.
3 Monkeys unlocks 1 stack
Max 2 stacks
Gorilla Brawler 3*:
Battle Start: Gain 2/3/4 ATK for every Ally with over 50 HP
Marmoset Ranger 4*:
First Attack: Stuns enemies. Deals area damage
Monkey Agents 3*:
Summon a Lv 1/2/3 Solo Agent. Counts as 2 Monkeys
Monkey Shaman 3*:
Gold Spent: Every 5 Gold, replace first shop item with a 2/1/0-cost Apple
Monkey Guardian 4*:
Passive: Immune to the first 3/4/5 attacks taken
Unethical Builder Gibbon 2*:
Shop Start: Gain 1/2/3 Gold. Poisons own team on battle start.
Pre-Evolution Monkey 2*:
Equipment Bought: Gain 3/5/7 HP
