  • Server
  • Security
removedFair PlaySpeed hacking is now blocked outright. The server enforces a strict limit on how much game time any client can claim per real second, anchored to the server's own clock. A tampered client running at several times normal speed no longer moves on the server - it is held in place, cannot reach or loot anything, and snaps back to where it started. The game already knew who was cheating; now it stops them.
changedFair PlayLegitimate players are untouched. Normal running, sprinting, jumping, falling and combat behave exactly as before. This was verified live with a fair player on the same server as an active cheat tool, confirming zero impact on ordinary play.
changedBehind the ScenesServer hardening and tooling. Further anti-cheat enforcement, server-side flood protection, fewer chances of a hiccup during shutdown or reconnects, and internal tooling improvements. None of this changes how the game plays.

Overhead Chat Bubbles

  • Chat now happens in the world, not just the chat box. When a nearby player sends a message on a public channel - Global, Region, Zone, Proximity or Party - it appears as a speech bubble above their character, coloured to match the channel it was sent on. Bubbles fade after a few seconds and only show for players close enough to see them.

  • You can see when someone nearby is typing. A neutral indicator appears above a player who is composing a message. It is deliberately colourless: it tells you someone is writing without revealing which channel they are writing to, and the text itself is never sent anywhere until the message is actually posted.

  • Bubbles respect line of sight. A player hidden behind a wall will not give away their position with a floating bubble. Bubbles sit above player nameplates instead of overlapping them, and disappear the moment someone walks out of range.

Fair Play

  • Speed hacking is now blocked outright. The server enforces a strict limit on how much game time any client can claim per real second, anchored to the server's own clock. A tampered client running at several times normal speed no longer moves on the server - it is held in place, cannot reach or loot anything, and snaps back to where it started. Behind the Scenes

  • Server hardening and tooling. Further anti-cheat enforcement, server-side flood protection, fewer chances of a hiccup during shutdown or reconnects, and internal tooling improvements. None of this changes how the game plays.
