addeda new update is coming soon. We would like to tell you a bit about it. To a large extent, this update includes performance improvements and structural changes to the code base. This has taken up a greater amount of time than initially hoped for, but we think we've got a good foundation for bringing new features to the game faster. While the foundation is laid with this update, research and changes in resource management will take place in the next big update. Of course, there is more with this update, that should enrich the gameplay. Here is a small overview:
addedThe barbarians are coming! This new threat can be activated optionally and offers another challenge on the way to victory. These tribes are not interested in expansion but in plunder and will be able to haunt all civilized realms.
addedNew vegetation system: This finally allows us with still maintaining good performance, to represent denser vegetation. The details shown in the screenshot are on "Ultra Settings" and will be further optimized with upcoming updates.
addedA new map is included with this update: Kariba "Matching the season", we have installed a tropical-inspired map, which brings along with the new setting other temperature conditions. As always we still doing updates to all our maps in future updates.
changedAdditional: - Conquest options after conquering a city: Conquer, plunder, destroy and spare are now possible. - Units / ships have been revised. - Revised Victory Conditions, with progress now showing. - High score revised and will now be displayed in the game. - New victory screen. - Water reflections. - New snow shader. - Adjustments to game flow. - Performance, structure and code optimizations (a lot). - Day time is now longer than night time. - Bug fixes and graphical optimizations in many places. - Many more little things.
changedDue to the still strong changes in game code, saving can unfortunately not be transferred to the new version. Once this work has been completed, we will continue to expand the save system. We ask for patience here.

As indicated above, this update is scheduled for 16.12.2019. Changes to the deadline are possible if we discover errors / problems during testing.

Due to the still strong changes in game code, saving can unfortunately not be transferred to the new version. Once this work has been completed, we will continue to expand the save system. We ask for patience here.

We still thank for the support, new additions for the game will follow next year, but more on that later. ;)
