The public Demo of CIVIREVIVAL has been available for some time. This update summarizes key player feedback, highlights completed fixes, and shares our short- and long-term development plans.

🔧 Completed

  • Fixed all known progression-blocking bugs in the Demo

  • Improved overall stability and playability

🖥 UI & Interaction (In Progress)

The current Demo mainly focuses on UI style and color adjustments. Interaction design still requires significant improvement.

Our next focus areas include:

  • Reducing overly complex operation paths

  • Improving visibility of core feature entry points

  • Clarifying key information presentation

UI and interaction improvements are a major development priority going forward.

🎓 New Player Experience

Most player issues are not related to gameplay depth, but to unclear core interactions.

We will improve onboarding by:

  • Refining interaction design

  • Restructuring information presentation

rather than relying on longer or more intrusive tutorials.

⚙ Balance & Economy

  • Resource consumption and production are still under tuning

  • Balance adjustments will continue iteratively based on player data

⚔ Combat System (Planned)

Future combat improvements will focus on:

  • Expanding weapon types and active unit abilities

  • Ongoing improvements to enemy AI behavior

  • Stronger combat feedback and sense of impact

Our goal is to make combat more strategic and engaging.

🌌 Content & Narrative

Limited content in the current Demo is a known issue.

The next development phase will focus on:

  • Deepening individual gameplay systems

  • Strengthening interactions between systems

Narrative will be delivered through gameplay-driven storytelling, rather than traditional AVG-style presentation.

🗓 Development Plan

Short-term goals:

  • UI and interaction improvements

  • Information layout restructuring

  • Expansion of core gameplay content

Long-term plan:

  • Targeting completion of the EA (Early Access) version in 2026
