DEVLOG – Upcoming Developer Video Stream

Hello everyone. We have a small update for you today.

We’re happy to announce that in the coming days/hours we will release a video of our technical demo. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at how Atlantis works and the direction we’re taking with the gameplay. This is direct gameplay footage.

And since there are already over 300 of you interested – maybe we can reach 500?

To give you a taste – a short video showcasing the game’s atmosphere

We prepared a recording that, through its music, captures the atmosphere of the world we are building. Every good game deserves good music, and we believe this track perfectly reflects the tone and even hints at the pacing we’re aiming for.

What the technical demo video shows

  • A sample of the gameplay.

  • Proof that the project works in practice.

  • A way for you to see whether Atlantis matches what you imagine it should be.

Closed Technical Demo Test – details

  1. The build you’ll see in the video is essentially the same version we will release for testing. It is currently going through QA/QL, and once the fixes are applied, it will be ready for you.

  2. The closed demo will include the tutorial and an introduction to the story. The full experience is planned for roughly 1.3–2 hours of gameplay, based on an improved version of the build shown in the video.

  3. We are planning a series of demos. Large studios can afford hundreds of testers. We take a more open approach, which will allow us to gather data on dozens of systems and see how they perform in practice.

  4. This will not be a festival-ready demo. It does not have its final polish yet. For example: balancing a single file is not a five-minute task, and “developer intuition” alone isn’t enough.

  5. The demo will help us determine whether the direction we’re taking aligns with the expectations of our players. At this stage, we can still make significant changes and adjustments.

Finally… meet Dora

Dora is one of the main characters in the story. After watching countless trailers where developers intentionally avoided designing attractive female characters, we decided to take the opposite approach.

In our game, every female character will be appealing and artistically stylized. It’s a game, after all — it should look good and create a world you want to explore.

Ps. We’re also working on something special — a visually polished trailer that will introduce you to the world of Atlantis.
