Cinema Theater Tycoon changes
Welcome back for more patch notes! This update is one of the biggest so far: it brings a wide range of bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, system optimizations, and brand-new features. Notable highlights include: Building improvements & new Facade View mode Smarter tutorial flow with better detection and UI improvements Numerous building & placement fixes Improved AI behavior for clients and employees Major optimizations to performance and save/load systems More accurate economy, notifications, and rewards As always, we encourage you to share your feedback on our DISCORD in the #bug-and-feedback channel!
New Features
Added Facade View mode, allowing the building’s front to be displayed in focus.
New rectangular wall & paint placement tool (not just linear).
Clients can now sit on sofas in the lobby (new AI behavior).
Added a proper end credits sequence after finishing the game.
Improvements
Time & Systems
Increased overall game time speed.
Improved save/load system for walls, objects, and furniture.
Building & Placement
Walls of the same type no longer duplicate costs.
Rotation resets to default orientation when selecting a new item.
Removed obsolete “placo foundation” item.
Demolition mode now shows the resale value of objects.
Starting broken objects now have a sell price.
Better mouse detection on objects depending on map position.
Doors and wall counters now restore walls when destroyed.
Chairs now snap correctly to tables.
Tutorial
Tutorial waits until room validation before progressing.
Correct detection for wall building (not confused with painting).
Improved tutorial selection & clicks.
Tutorial UI windows slightly larger for readability.
Tutorial now forces pause mode.
Tutorial dialogues can be skipped by clicking anywhere on UI.
User Interface
Esc closes all windows.
Renaming rooms now requires one click.
Task UI font size increased.
Money notifications no longer block building.
No more debit notifications when placing items from inventory.
Archives keep selection until stock is empty.
Notifications are now newest first.
Duplicate notifications now stack.
Rewards now display correctly (Samy & critics).
Economy & Missions
Cloakroom income credited properly.
Difficulty now affects attendance (bonus Easy, malus Hard).
Film catalog prices display correctly, even in pause.
Clean all dirt / floor trash mission expanded to multiple stains.
Performance & Optimization
Optimized Auto-Reduce Wall View (less lag).
Optimized archives menu.
Localization
Improved Chinese localization.
Fixes
Building & Objects
Fixed bug preventing wall placement in room-construction.
Fixed duplication bug with overlapping walls.
Fixed issue where objects on tables glitched below or failed to rotate.
Fixed detection issues for wall-mounted objects.
Fixed bug where wall decorations couldn’t be deleted.
Fixed bin state not saving properly.
Fixed poster rotation glitch and giant poster bug.
“News Films” can no longer be used as posters.
Clients & Employees
Fixed bug where clients left screenings early at midnight.
Fixed bug where pitchman & pianist left before screenings ended.
Fixed wardrobe employees glitching under their counter.
Fixed client AI getting stuck in toilets, lobby, or seats. Blocked characters now despawn.
Fixed buyers freezing unexpectedly.
Fixed employee work schedules detection.
UI & Notifications
Fixed bug where message dates didn’t match send times.
Fixed bug where notifications overlapped visually.
Fixed bug where some rewards appeared empty.
Missions & Events
Fixed bug where L’Enfant de Paris unlocked too early.
Fixed mismatch in film rarity display between purchase and reel management.
