Controller Support

  • Navigate all menus, lobbies, and screens with your controller

  • Board mode lets you select squares and make moves directly with the analog stick

  • Switch between Menu Mode and Board Mode with the shoulder buttons

  • Controller is detected automatically at startup — no setup needed

  • Works with Xbox, PlayStation, and generic controllers

Steam Deck

  • UI scales properly at 1280x800 — icons, cards, and panels all fit cleanly

  • Language auto-detects from your system settings

  • Controller prompts appear immediately on boot

These improvements also apply to anyone playing on a TV or couch setup with a controller.

This is the first pass at controller and Steam Deck support, so it might not be perfect yet. If something isn't working properly or feels off, please let me know, your feedback helps a lot!
