Hello everyone. Today, it's time for another update. This update is a preparatory step for something bigger.

CHEMISTS: Area of infection changes
Skills and Stats
— Repair cost reduction skill has been enabled; when fully upgraded, it will be 20% cheaper.
— Skills and their leveling have been adjusted. They started with 5,000 experience and incremented with 2,500 experience. Now they start with 4,000 experience and increment with the same 4,000 experience. Total experience gained over all 10 levels: 162,500 experience, now 220,000 experience.
— Character stats have also been balanced: The total cost of leveling up 6 levels was 370,000 experience. Now it's 580,000 experience. A 56% increase.
Tools
— Tool repair at the repair bench has been added. However, not all tools can be repaired.
— The number of items for crafting now depends on the wear of the tool used in the crafting. — When crafting with a tool, it wears out. If you have multiple tools, the first one is selected and crafted with it. The next time you craft, the next one will be selected. It's like in real life; we can't cut with two scissors at once.
— Tool durability is now displayed in the information.
Other
— Cooked Campfire Set #1 — has been added to the trade: Nikolai in the village, the Hunter near the clinic, and the Forester.
— Snow effect optimization.
— Weather event changes — light snow remains, fog has been added.
— Smooth fading of lanterns on poles.
— Game lighting changes.
— Only repairable and worn items are displayed in the list at the repair bench.
— Modules can now be installed on the VSS Vintorez.
— Weapon specifications are updated when modifying the weapon — this change was made to ensure that purchased weapons update their specifications, which change during development, are improved, etc.
Saving and Loading
— Quick Load removed from F7 — each save is unique and can only be loaded from the menu. F5 (save) works. The F7 reference has been removed from the control keys.
— The game save mechanic on exit has been removed — it was not working correctly.
User Interface
— Tab behavior in the PDA has been fixed — it now works in all windows, and if you press it again, it goes to the inventory and then to exit. Previously, this did not work everywhere, and only in some windows.
— The size of the Delete Save button has been changed to prevent accidental clicks.
— Event Map icons have been updated.
— Weapon shadows have been removed in weapon customization.
— New content translation.
Fixes
— Corrected the rotation positions for pistols and submachine guns when aiming. The one-handed grip style for pistols and submachine guns has also been changed.
— Fixed a phrasing error in quotes about fishing.
— Fixed the ammo parsing for all five calibers: 7.62x51 and 7.62x54.
— Fixed Gleb's dialogue regarding stew. Also, a refund has been added when exchanging ammo—allowing you to quickly return all ammo without closing the dialogue.
