Chains of Reality closed beta testing has finally arrived!

Hello testers, and hello world! It's been a long time coming! I know it's been a little unfortunate with how long CoR's beta has taken, but I'm very happy to announce it has finally arrived!

fixedHello testers, and hello world!Closed beta will last for an indefinite amount of time. There is a possibility of an open beta down the road, however this is not confirmed. For now, it's entirely closed and private with no other invitations. So, what's to come then? Well, expect an update every month. Your usual update, of "Hello everyone, I have added X and Y as well as fixed Z". It'll add new content, fix old bugs and balance out the game every update, eventually building up to what I would feel comfortable releasing in early access to the public. I refuse to launch a buggy mess of a game to the public!
fixedHello testers, and hello world!Hotfixes will also be released an announced as need be. Won't be monthly, just whenever it's needed typically after a regular update within the same week. They wont add anything impactful, mainly just fixes and balances the game, as a hotfix should do.

Hello testers, and hello world!

It's been a long time coming! I know it's been a little unfortunate with how long CoR's beta has taken, but I'm very happy to announce it has finally arrived!

Closed beta will last for an indefinite amount of time. There is a possibility of an open beta down the road, however this is not confirmed. For now, it's entirely closed and private with no other invitations. So, what's to come then? Well, expect an update every month. So expect a hotfix here after release sometime this week as of this announcement, and a regular update towards the end of may. It'll be adding

  • A new level

  • Expanded building system

  • Basic sanity implementation

  • Expanded lore and guidance

  • Lots, and lots, and did i mention lots of fixes, and ESPECIALLY balancing

Thank you all so much! This is just the beginning. To those who are awaiting early access, you won't be disappointed.
