changedUI UpdatesThere are new bidirectional rocker buttons in several panels, typically as “-/+” buttons. These take up less space but also consolidate focus so it is more efficient to traverse controls using game controllers or the keyboard. In most cases these new buttons enable moving in multiple directions through settings that previously could only be traversed one-way!
changedUI UpdatesCertain panels now support 3-way focus so that a single focus-switch action allows 3 different buttons to be simultaneously used. For example, it is now possible to focus all volume controls at once and have easy access to the ON/OFF switch, the “-” decrementing button and the “+” incrementing button, using different game controller buttons or keyboard keys.
changedUI UpdatesGame controllers now require the use of lower triggers such as R2 when they previously used other buttons (e.g. action buttons often used “A” but now use “R2”). This change was necessary to enable the 3-way action mentioned earlier.
fixedUI UpdatesMany animations have been tweaked in the UI, such as the transitions between main-screen panels in the mobile version. In general, the UI will feel a bit more responsive! A minor bug showing the initial game-controller or keyboard focus, after switching panels, has been fixed.
addedUI UpdatesThe main menu’s “?” screen (About/Help) now has a link to the official YouTube page.
addedGameplay UpdatesA number of in-game animations and effects have been tweaked, as well as some in-game artwork. Some gameplay has also been modified, such as new “broken ring” mechanics for enemies that fire projectiles in a circular pattern.

A big update to Celtreos!

UI Updates

There are new bidirectional rocker buttons in several panels, typically as “-/+” buttons. These take up less space but also consolidate focus so it is more efficient to traverse controls using game controllers or the keyboard. In most cases these new buttons enable moving in multiple directions through settings that previously could only be traversed one-way!

Certain panels now support 3-way focus so that a single focus-switch action allows 3 different buttons to be simultaneously used. For example, it is now possible to focus all volume controls at once and have easy access to the ON/OFF switch, the “-” decrementing button and the “+” incrementing button, using different game controller buttons or keyboard keys.

Game controllers now require the use of lower triggers such as R2 when they previously used other buttons (e.g. action buttons often used “A” but now use “R2”). This change was necessary to enable the 3-way action mentioned earlier.

Many animations have been tweaked in the UI, such as the transitions between main-screen panels in the mobile version. In general, the UI will feel a bit more responsive! A minor bug showing the initial game-controller or keyboard focus, after switching panels, has been fixed.

The main menu’s “?” screen (About/Help) now has a link to the official YouTube page.

Song Updates

The following songs have been enhanced: “Assignment”, “Diminution”, “Establishment”, “Evacuation”, “Evasion” and “Flow”.

Gameplay Updates

A number of in-game animations and effects have been tweaked, as well as some in-game artwork. Some gameplay has also been modified, such as new “broken ring” mechanics for enemies that fire projectiles in a circular pattern.
