This game was first released in 2017 but has been updated over 95 times (including late 2025), on average once a month, making huge additions such as:
New stages
Improved soundtrack and brand new songs!
Two-player mode
Many, many new weapons over time, and the ability to customize weapon arrays
An entirely new XP system for upgrading weapons during the game
New ships, and an entirely new ship-customization mode
New power-ups and other game items
New enemies, and even a 2nd end-game boss!
New gameplay features such as Achievements, Fragments and rotating stages
New controls such as ship slow-down and changing default speed
Several new settings, including “Quick game” and “Hard difficulty”
Improved game artwork continuously (making more detailed backgrounds for instance)
Support for the latest operating systems, computer hardware and game controllers!
Added support for the Apple TV
Redesign to support wider-screen format
Upgrading effects and voice to support positional sound
Continuous improvements to performance and other low-level aspects of the code
Localization of the in-game UI to French
Support for system Accessibility settings to adjust text size (small, normal, large)
Support for 120 FPS
