Observe the World
It’s been seven years since we first introduced the Civilization tech tree and gardens, spanning from Ancient Civilization to the distant future. If you’ve been with us since the beginning, you’ll recognize the iconic wonder of exploring the web on a computer with Stonehenge as your table. Or the static drone that remains as unmoving as your feelings towards the garden.
Well, say no more. It’s time to say goodbye to the old garden and give a grand hello to the new and improvedModern Civilization garden. Like any grand masterpiece in the making, it will continue to evolve.
This update is a testament to the love players have for the game, reflected in the cumulative feedback we’ve received through the years. Thank you to everyone who continues to share your thoughts with us in helping to improve the game. We especially appreciate the support we’ve received from Reddit and revisiting the journey that brought us here. And yes, we agree, the old garden was ugly.
