In the wake of this new era, structure becomes king. Inventors offer life-changing solutions in the name of progress, advancing human ingenuity at record speeds. The everyday worker can now travel further distances in less time, factory output is more flexible, and fashion is a luxury most can afford.
Let’s get to work and build…
…the new and improved Industrial Revolution.
Trust the Process
As the conveyor belt cranks, new features file one by one into the simulation. New modes of transportation are more commonplace, with other technologies becoming everyday staples for convenience and human connection.
Propel the means of production with 12 enhanced Technology Nodes, from Rubber to Garment District
Unlock 10,100 metric tons of industrial wrought iron with the new Eiffel Tower glitch node
All Aboard!
Brick by brick, the Modern Civilization garden comes together. Peer through the chimney smoke and take in the beginnings of a city skyline. Things are always bustling in this moment of historical progress.
Step aboard the updated Industrial Revolution train and journey across the railroad
Gaze at the glory of an unlockable 3D Eiffel Tower
Display newly purchased premium items on red carpets
Whistle While You Work
New Darwinium and Logit prizes are ready to bolster your simulation.

Improve simulation efficiency with the Zeta Module Cards
Choo choo! Make way for three new secret achievements. Can you find them?
Civilization: Industrial Revolution is available to play now on Steam and will be available on iOS and Android by 04/22/2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
March has been full of in-person events for our team! A portion of us flew to California for GDC, while players found our booth at PAX East.
On April 2, Mesozoic Valley was run amuck by mischievous raptors! They stole and hid some dinosaur eggs (just in time for Easter), and it was up to Universe Architects to find and return them to their rightful owners. Completionists were also awarded with a special secret achievement. This limited-time event may be over now, but it will return next spring so keep an eye out if you missed it.
The Primary Simulation is also preparing for a new Reboot update. It was formerly known as Automation, but after multiple iterations, it’s taken on an alternate form that revives an old feature. We hope you look forward to this new and improved way to purchase nodes on the tree. And thank you again to our beta testers for helping us collect valuable feedback to make it fun.
Spring is in full swing, and so are we. After a busy March, we’re now fully returned to the office and ready to prepare for some upcoming releases. We hope you enjoy leveling up your simulated Industrial Revolution as we continue to expand the Primary Simulation, Reality Engine, and more.
Stay cellular,
The Cells Team
