Hi Universe Architects,
HOTFIX 46.32: Reintroduced Resolution options in Windowed Mode.
We’re back with another quality of life update as we continue refining the changes introduced with Reality Reboot. Our first Reboot update brought more control over time, and now we're making rebooting more fun.
Nanobots already exist within the simulation with automated node purchasing and progression. As a core system players rely on, they are the perfect foundation to enhance. With this update, Nanobots are now stronger than ever, working more intelligently to support your progression. Curious to see how much they’ve changed? Find out in:
Find out more about Nanobots by watching the official trailer here.
A Smarter Bot
The most notable change to Nanobots is how and what they buy. They were previously limited to purchasing trait nodes only visible on the screen. Now, they are smarter, faster, and last for a longer period of time. The new Nanobots can progress through the tree in significantly less time or generate more tapping currency than ever before. Players can resume where they last left off much sooner after each Primary Simulation reboot.
Nanobots are now also better at prioritizing which nodes to unlock, purchasing from cheapest to most expensive while following the most cost-effective path. They are able to act more independently and efficiently, reducing the need for manual oversight. Sit back and trust your Nanobots.
In The Reality Engine
Nanobots previously had only one upgrade, which simply increased their number. While useful, this left them with limited gameplay depth.
We wanted them to be more compelling, so we expanded what they can do and added another strategic layer to progression with a new Nanobots branch in the Reality Engine tree. Players can complete up to 35 unlockable upgrades, with more being added in future updates.
These upgrades are designed to make Nanobots stronger and more customizable based on player preference. Increase the amount of generators bought at once with Nanobot Multibuy, set Nanobots on autopilot at the start of each reboot with Nanobot Auto-Start, and so much more.
As Nanobots become more powerful and focused, their maximum number changes from 12 to 6, with their strength scaled accordingly. Each Nanobot has a much greater impact based on the upgrades unlocked, adding another strategic layer while leaving room for future expansion. All players with 7+ Nanobots will receive a Knowledge refund for their previously purchased Nanobots. Additionally, these players will also receive a special achievement.
