changedSurgery proficiency provides a moderate boost to success rate, robotic Programming proficiency provides a large boost. These two stack.
addedYou can train Surgery by installing or uninstalling bionics, but it will take too long to learn in a single playthrough probably. I'll have to add other ways to train it.
changedRobotic programming reduces the chance that deployed robots will be hostile toward you. With even halfway decent skill (computers, electronics) and intelligence, the chance is basically zero even before you get the proficiency.
fixedFixed a bug with Maria at NECC, it is no longer possible to ask her for a nonexistent duster.
changed@doublescale submitted a fix for some weirdness with riot armor and MOLLE encumbrance.

  • Bionic installation keys off of proficiencies now instead of professions.

  • Surgery proficiency provides a moderate boost to success rate, robotic Programming proficiency provides a large boost. These two stack.

  • If you lack Surgery but have Human Autopsy, you get a tiny boost to success rate.

  • Basic Biology or Cyborg Anatomy (not both) provide a tiny boost which stacks with any others you may have.

  • You can train Surgery by installing or uninstalling bionics, but it will take too long to learn in a single playthrough probably. I'll have to add other ways to train it.

  • Robotic Programming can be trained by crafting robots.

  • Crafting robots now requires a laptop and robOS.

  • robOS is software that can be found on (mostly) science drives.

  • You can find it on civilian laptops and other drives sometimes, too. It will not be on phones or tablets.

  • Robotic programming reduces the chance that deployed robots will be hostile toward you. With even halfway decent skill (computers, electronics) and intelligence, the chance is basically zero even before you get the proficiency.

  • Fixed a bug with Maria at NECC, it is no longer possible to ask her for a nonexistent duster.

  • @doublescale submitted a fix for some weirdness with riot armor and MOLLE encumbrance.
