Hello Warriors! We have a lot of exciting things to talk about for the future of Castle Warriors. We are hoping to add a lot with our end of year patch and wanted to give you guys an idea of what to expect.

Hello Warriors! We have a lot of exciting things to talk about for the future of Castle Warriors. We are hoping to add a lot with our end of year patch and wanted to give you guys an idea of what to expect. As you guys know we are a small two-man team but we have both recently taken on the challenge of being full time on this project for the remainder of the year. Our goal is to make this next patch something truly special. The major thing is we have been delaying system rewrites for a while now but we are finally committing to them. What that means is we wont be able to patch the game while we do these rewrites. However, there are lots of major things coming with this patch. Here is what we have planned currently:

addedOverall system rewrites that will solve all lag issues. Combat Flow as well as unit pathing will be seeing massive changes. With these change we are hoping to increase the gameplay speed and number of units on screen dramatically. - Massive unit balance overhaul to all units via new abilities and attacks - In game Tooltips for everything. Unit stats, ability details, upgrade details, warrior details, etc. - Endless Mode - Featuring a new game format and new enemies! - Map 7 - Featuring a new faction of enemies! - +6 Maps adding a new Difficulty Modifier - 1 New Player Faction - 1 New Warrior - New Unit Sprites for all Player Factions

This is a big patch for us because we are hoping it will be closer to what we envisioned when we first started this journey. We are commited to making this next patch the biggest and best patch Castle Warriors has seen yet. While we are behind the scenes working on this patch we do plan to release DevLogs to keep you guys up to date on our progress.

Thank you for all of your support so far this year! Hopefully, we end the year with a bang :slight_smile:
