Castle Craft changes
We’re back with another exciting patch for Castle Craft, and we’ve implemented a bunch of the things you've requested! Not only have we squashed bugs, but we’ve also optimized performance, improved gameplay mechanics, and balanced some key elements to make your castle-building and defense experience even better! 💥
Patch Notes:
🎮 Gameplay Updates:
Resource spots now save and restore when loading/saving. Goodbye re-load resource exploit 🦴
Brute charge attack has been improved for more devastating impact! 💪⚡
Minions now find the closest resource spot they can reach, making resource gathering more efficient.
Rocket artillery’s projectile trajectory and performance have been fine-tuned for a cooler "drunken rocket" behavior! 💥
One-click upgrades for prefabs like windows and doors! 🏗️
Prefab integrity checks optimized for smoother performance.
Telekinesis ability is now more reactive! Grab and throw objects even faster! 🪄✨
⚖️ Balancing Changes:
Friendly archers' range reduced by around 15% to balance the battlefield.
Road now gives a sprinting speed boost, so you can sprint even faster on roads!
🛠️ Quality of Life Improvements:
Added confirmation prompt when deleting a profile—no more accidental deletions! 🔒
🐞 Fixes Galore:
Bomblings no longer become (occasionally) invincible after dying! 🦴
Fixed player equipment visibility when controlling a trap—now it’s all about the traps!
Blade Prison and other skills are now reliably activatable during the combat phase.
Brutes no longer die from fall damage during their charge attack.
Fixed falling kill zone being too high in Stygia—now you can dig all the way to the ground without dying.
Pickup kiting issue when running past a pickup is now fixed.
Iron pickups no longer get stuck inside the iron resource spots.
Fixed wall upgrade ability missing the change grid size sound.
Right Mouse Button no longer cancels digging volume abilities.
Attached prefabs (banners or horizontal spikes) no longer block wall upgrades.
Things no longer attach to banners unintentionally.
Mid-Air Smash can no longer be activated from very low heights.
Climbing and Mjolnir sounds now respect audio volume settings.
Platoon follow/unfollow bug has been resolved—platoons behave as expected!
Flying player pawn no longer takes damage from spikes while in building mode.
Telekinesis projectile no longer lingers mid-air if hitting friendlies.
🔥 Minor Update:
Fire lights now have a more orange hue than yellow for a warmer, more atmospheric glow.

Platoon Command Tool – Easily reposition your platoons in the building phase or command them during the combat phase—tactical freedom at its best! 🔧⚔️
