A Message to the Carbon Community

Over the past months, many of you have asked how Carbon is doing, shared your thoughts, and reminded us why we started this journey in the first place. This update is inspired by you.

A few days ago, community member Jawzandrex shared a thoughtful post about Carbon. These are just a few excerpts that truly resonated with us:

"The sci-fi genre is severely underrepresented, and gamers are starved for a proper futuristic setting."

"The atmosphere in Carbon is immaculate. Mixing raw neon decay with bio-augmentations gives it a unique identity."

"Please do not give up on this project. The foundation you built with the prototype demo is responsive, fast, and incredibly fun. The ARPG community is incredibly loyal, and if you keep refining this, we will support you all the way through Early Access."

The excerpts above are just a small sample of the incredible support we continue to receive from our community. They tell us that Carbon is reaching exactly the people we hoped it would. We never wanted to build just another fantasy ARPG. Our ambition has always been to create the kind of sci-fi experience we felt was missing, with its own identity, atmosphere and vision.

You have probably noticed that we have been quieter over the past months. That does not mean Carbon has slowed down. Quite the opposite. A lot is happening behind the scenes, and not everything can be shared as it unfolds. But our commitment has never changed. We are doing everything we can to build the game we envisioned from the very beginning.

Thank you for your patience, your trust and your continued support. We intend to deliver on every promise we have made. And if we do our job right, we hope to surprise you with a few things you do not see coming.
