A Massive Apology and a Huge Update! ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ“–

Hi everyone. First of all, I want to sincerely apologize for releasing this update a bit later than you might have expected. There is a very important reason for this delay, and I want to be completely transparent with you.

I am fully aware of the massive refund rates during the game's launch days. Nearly half of the people who bought the game refunded it... And to be completely honest? They are absolutely right. Even though I released the game in Early Access, the initial version was unfortunately very empty in terms of content and felt more like a buggy demo. This is my first game development experience, I am learning everything on my own through trial and error, and I take full responsibility for that rushed, incomplete release.

I apologize to everyone who refunded for the disappointment. But to everyone who kept the game in their library, didn't refund, and trusted me enough to wait: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks to your support, I've been working day and night without sleep to fix all the core issues of the game from the ground up.

Now, let's get into the massive additions that will completely cure that "empty" feeling.

๐ŸŒฑ New Farming Mechanics: Greenhouses and Sprinklers

Farm life just got a whole lot easier! You can now build Greenhouses to safely grow your crops across all four seasons, and install automatic Sprinkler systems to save you from the exhausting chore of watering every single tile every morning.

๐Ÿงฑ Decorate Your Park: Floor Tiles & Paths

Want to make your caravan park look like a true luxury resort? You can now craft and place various floor tiles (wood, stone, brick, and more!) on the ground. Build beautiful walkways between your caravans, create cozy patios for your guests, and design the park exactly how you envision it. Time to unleash your inner landscape designer!

A Handy New Tool: The Rope

Don't like your park layout? No need to pack up and rebuild anymore. Tie a rope to a caravan and drag it exactly where you want it! The same rope works for storage chests too. You no longer need to carry mined ores or harvested crops one by one; hitch a rope to a full chest, put it on your back, and let it follow you around the village. Your back will thank you! ๐Ÿ˜„

๐ŸŽฎ Now in Your Pocket: Full Steam Deck Support

For those who want to play while lounging on the couch, the village is now right in your hands. Aiming is done with the right stick, hotbar swaps with the shoulder buttons, and pushing the stick all the way transitions to sprinting without needing an extra button. The UI has also been rescaled for comfortable reading on the Deck's smaller screen.

A quick note: Even though I believe I've made the Deck integration as flawless as possible, I test everything alone, so bugs might have slipped past me. If you experience even the slightest weirdness or control issue, please let me know immediately in the discussions. I promise to hotfix that issue the very same day you report it!

๐Ÿค Farm Together: 4-Player Co-op & LAN Support!

Why run the park alone when you can bring your friends? I am thrilled to announce that 4-Player Co-op is now officially in the game! You can invite up to 3 friends to join your village, share the workload, explore the mines, and manage the caravans together.

But that's not all: I also added LAN (Local Area Network) support! You don't even need to be connected to Steam servers to play together in the same room. Just hop on the same network, grab your friends, and start building your dream park.

๐Ÿ“– A Novel-Length Story: 12 New Neighbors

The area around your caravan park is no longer empty. But these aren't your standard NPCs. You're looking at a massive storyline full of secrets and surprises that you won't be able to put down:

  • ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ The Scammer (Realtor): Yes, the guy you thought took your money and ran is still around! He'll sneak into your field disguised as a scarecrow, steal your crops, leave crumpled notes behind, and send you mocking letters in the mail. Catching him will be a months-long game of cat and mouse!

  • ๐Ÿ“ฏ The Postman: A secret admirer who appears by your mailbox in the mornings, leaves you anonymous love notes at first out of shyness, and just might propose to you right in front of that very mailbox one day... ๐Ÿ’

  • โš“ The Captain: A broken sailor who will spin you sea-lies for days, talking about 9-armed octopuses, only to finally confront you with the heavy, real tragedy of his sunken ship.

  • โ›๏ธ The Miner: A veteran who has spent 30 years tracking his father in the heart of the mountain, listening to the mountain's pulse, only to ultimately realize that the true motherlode was actually "his own 30 years of labor".

  • ๐Ÿฒ The Chef: A culinary master searching for the secret of a 60-year-old wedding soup, who will discover with you that the missing ingredient was actually "a gathering of friends".

  • ๐Ÿ‘ป The Founder's Ghost: The melancholic and shy spirit of the park's original founder from 40 years ago, who only appears at night.

  • ๐Ÿ‘ฝ The Alien (???): A mysterious friend who crashed in the mountain pass, secretly waits for your help to repair their ship, and will send you postcards from the stars when they return to the sky.

And so much more... Caravan Village is no longer just a place where you plant crops; it's a living, breathing world where betrayals, aged secrets, great friendships, and romances happen.

Thank you again for giving me a chance and waiting for me to fix these mistakes. Enjoy meeting your new neighbors, and have fun! ๐Ÿšœ๐Ÿ’›
