Repeated intro

Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ’› Solo dev here. First off, for everyone asking about Steam Deck and controller support โ€” it's almost ready, and I'm aiming to ship it in the very next update (likely tomorrow!). Full gamepad controls and Deck-friendly improvements are on the way, so hang tight. ๐ŸŽฎ In the meantime, here's today's patch fixing a bunch of the issues you reported. Thank you so much for the detailed feedback โ€” it genuinely shapes the game. Keep it coming! ๐Ÿ› Bug Fixes Fixed a freeze when opening the menu. A background process was firing on every object spawn, which could lock up the game and also caused general stutter. It's now tied to scene changes only โ€” a big stability and performance win. Fixed rain falling inside buildings and the screen darkening indoors. Interiors (including the chicken coop) are now detected correctly. Fixed the character randomly turning around while chopping. Your facing direction now stays locked during a chopping streak. Fixed "the screen going crazy" / uncontrolled camera movement for players with a controller, racing wheel, or joystick plugged in. Phantom stick input is no longer read. Fixed the second mini-game kiosk not responding to "E". The prompt now matches the actual interaction โ€” you can use it by pressing E or by clicking. Fixed workbench crafting not counting toward the main story quest (the "craft an item" quest no longer gets stuck). โœจ Improvements & New Options New tabbed Settings menu (Display / Audio / Game) โ€” cleaner and easier to navigate. Added a UI Scale slider (Settings โ†’ Display). Much better readability, especially on Steam Deck and for small text. Added a Weather Effects Intensity slider (Settings โ†’ Game), and toned down heavy rain by default to reduce motion sickness. Time now pauses while menus and notes are open (single-player). Increased tree & resource density/respawn across the world. Added a ๐ŸŒฑ marker over growing saplings so you don't accidentally clear them before they mature โ€” this is also why some of you felt trees "weren't regrowing"; they were still saplings! โ„น๏ธ Clarifications (not bugs) Animal products (eggs/milk): animals only produce once they're fed. Craft Hay at the workbench, then deposit it into the Silo โ€” fed animals will drop products automatically. Clearer in-game guidance is coming. Trees already drop 3โ€“5 wood, not one. ๐Ÿ”œ Coming next: full controller & Steam Deck support, a town map, watering-can/stamina tweaks, and more quest & crash fixes.
