Dear Players,

First and foremost, we would like to thank you for the incredible amount of constructive feedback we’ve received since the launch of Campfire: Night One. We are hard at work on the upcoming update, which will include highly requested technical fixes.

Important Announcement regarding Promotional Keys:

We want to be transparent with our community regarding a recent administrative action. Upon launch, we distributed several promotional keys for testing and review purposes. Unfortunately, we identified instances where these keys were misused. Instead of providing the professional feedback that was agreed upon, these accesses were used in bad faith to intentionally damage the game's reputation and incite hostility.

As developers, it is our responsibility to protect the integrity of our project from toxic behavior; therefore, we have revoked these specific promotional keys. Should you notice a sudden wave of negative reviews, please be aware that this is a coordinated emotional reaction from a few individuals seeking "revenge" for their lost access. It is a striking contradiction to see such an intense protest over losing access to a game they claimed they didn't even want to play in the first place.

This action does not affect our paying customers or content creators who support our development with constructive criticism. We remain focused on our real players:

The darkness remains, the challenge is set, and we can’t wait to see who survives until morning!

Thank you for your understanding and for supporting indie development.
