AI removal:

I am in the process of removing all AI content from the game, thankfully there was very little to begin with.

About 6 enemies and a few background pictures were generated during the early days of development and no longer serve their purpose.

Mandrake sprouts, living brush, all three mummy bosses, and The Enlightened have has their battler images replaced with new artwork. Next is the background art, which will take longer to source proper replacements.

DOT Tweaks

Poison, burning, and bleeding all had a minor secondary effect that has been around since very early in the game. This secondary effect seems to be conflicting in odd ways with the other DoTs and has been removed to make combat smoother.

Desert Boss Tweaks:

Removing AI presented a great opportunity to rework some fights and enemies.

Mummy Pharaoh:

  • This mummy is now split into 2 targets. The mummy and mummy's heart.

    • Mummy's Heart: The mummy's heart is a powerful healing unit that keeps the main mummy alive and in fighting shape.

    • Mummy: This is unchanged and keeps all stats of the original boss.

Mummy Mage:

  • Mummy Mage now has a collection of magic bolt spells that deal a low amount of damage and don't consume his action.

Mummy Priest

  • The priest is now split into 4 different enemies and much of his support has been removed.

    • Priest: The priest is unchanged, but is now only a skull.

    • Guardian Scrolls: These scrolls protect and fortify others in the encounter.

    • Enchanted Skulls: These skulls inflict status effects and can ignore your defense.

    • Sacred Relics: These relics fire a series of elemental bolts each round.
