One week after the Early Access launch, we've collected and fixed a lot of bugs. We hope this small hotfix will help make the transition into the new year a little smoother for you!
Balancing
Added stone and removed biomatter from the possible resources the miner can mine
Balanced the slope angle the player can walk on, fixing rough movement
Performance improvements
Design
Temporarily set aspect ratio to 16x9 only, until other resolutions are more stable
Limit save file name length to 20 symbols
Display collected research points as a popup
M.A.R.S. now gives feedback after repairing the communicator
Added popup in the settings menu that resets graphics settings after some time if not accepted
Added tool tip for research points to clarify where to get them
Bugfixes
Fixed a bug where the environment could not be generated correctly crashing the planet
Fixed an issue where the player could fall through the planet
Fixed an issue where the player could place multiple facilities ontop another
Fixed an issue where the miner wasn´t informed when a resource node ran dry
Fixed an issue where item slots stayed on the screen if a menu was closed mid-drag
Fixed an issue where points of interest did not respawn at the same location
Fixed a bug where research points weren't saved correctly when leaving the game
Fixed a bug that caused medium workshops to change into small workshop after reloading
M.A.R.S. no longer pops up multiple times when a smelter or a small workshop is placed
Opening the facility menu from build mode now updates correctly
