A new update is focused on gameplay issues, UI behavior, quest flow, and a number of bugs reported across Alaborg, Koschei encounters, and the Kodok & Vorosha areas.
This update addresses several edge cases discovered during deeper playthroughs, including combat behavior, camera issues, dialogue problems, and inconsistencies in UI and quest progression.
Gameplay & World
Fixed an issue where the frog could get stuck in a leash while following the player
Fixed multiple issues in Kodok & Vorosha where NPC interaction or movement could behave incorrectly
Fixed cases where the player could reach unintended areas (including climbing NPCs or attacking enemies through geometry)
Fixed an issue where enemies near the Stone Pillar would not react or engage in combat
Fixed incorrect collision on terrain (including hill areas and missing collision zones)
Fixed cases where players could fall out of bounds or get stuck in the environment
Fixed issues with moving platforms and interaction points in specific locations
Combat & Mechanics
Fixed an issue where Kestrel could behave incorrectly during stance transitions (e.g. stepping backward when switching from sprint to combat)
Fixed incorrect behavior of certain buffs (including resistance bonuses not applying properly)
Fixed an issue where enemies could attack the player from unintended positions
Quests & Progression
Fixed issues with quest tracking and incorrect quest switching in certain scenarios
Fixed missing or incorrect quest markers in several situations
Fixed cases where side quests in Alaborg would not update correctly upon reaching the 3/9 finale
Fixed an issue where progression could break after defeating a boss in specific conditions
UI & Interface
Fixed an issue where UI menus could not be closed with ESC after opening multiple menus in sequence
Fixed cases where HUD could disappear after certain actions (e.g. starting a mini-game)
Fixed long text descriptions not fitting properly within UI elements
Fixed missing icons and images in the journal
Audio & Dialogue
Fixed multiple cases where audio cues could overlap or repeat incorrectly
Fixed incorrect audio playback in interactions (including Alaborg gates)
Fixed issues where dialogue could behave incorrectly or not trigger properly
Visual & Camera
Fixed camera issues in Alaborg where it could clip through walls or behave incorrectly near obstacles
Fixed missing animations (including summon animations in certain quest scenarios)
Fixed visual glitches such as incorrect textures and UI elements
Economy & Interaction
Fixed incorrect trading behavior with the blacksmith in the 3/9 finale (gold display inconsistencies)
Fixed issues with item descriptions and quest-related text
Optimization
Simplified the Eastern Merchant armor set, reducing its performance impact
Optimized master materials for characters, some environment surfaces, and vegetation to improve overall performance
Rebalanced shadow settings, slightly improved quality with fewer issues related to draw distance
Simplified rendering of Koschei’s snakes on low and medium settings
Applied additional optimizations to visual effects to reduce FPS drops in heavy scenes
We’re continuing to work on performance improvements with each update. Some of these changes take time to implement properly, so they will be rolled out gradually in upcoming patches.
