Introducing the Old Guard

In turn-of-the-century Kingsport, an organization colloquially known as the ‘Old Guard’ controls the city’s underworld, pulls the strings of daily life, and even operates the Explosion Relief Commission. Helmed by the charismatic Mr. Fisher, the organization cemented its control in the wake of that tragic explosion which devastated half of the town. Fisher created his organization to position himself as the most loved person in town, using goodwill as a fuel to power the underbelly of corrupted politics and police. Still, in the eyes of so many, the relief from Fisher and his commission to the city of Kingsport following the explosion secured his place as a local hero.

Extortion and protection rackets, rum running, loan sharking; any methods were used to make Mr. Fisher the most powerful man in town, with no one to oppose him… until a bullet ended his career and threw the Old Guard into disarray.

Mr. Albert Fisher

With his sharp wit and winning personality, the eccentric Mr. Fisher seems to have no end to his list of friends and associates. In public, he is a famed hero of the city, while in private, he is a ruthless crime lord who has eliminated competition in any way possible. Nothing fazes him. No threat is taken seriously. His death sent a shockwave across the city, and left the organization vulnerable to the incoming threat of the Valenti Crime Family.

Mr. Louis Castellanos

Orphaned at a young age, Louis has been a loyal servant to Mr. Fisher since he found his way into the fledgling gang as a child. Never the strongest member, but Louis made up for it with intelligence and his knack for keeping tidy books. Fisher helped him with his studies and so he became Fisher’s right hand man, running the organization’s operations while Fisher dealt with its politics. Although he has been by Fisher’s side longer than anyone, Louis is not well liked by the organization or the town.

Maximillian Espinosa

Max moved to Kingsport when he was already an adult, on the run from a gang which wanted him dead. Employed as Fisher’s bodyguard for the last ten years, Max fought alongside Bruce against gangs that sprouted in the wake of the explosion. When Bruce disappeared for two years, Max became Fisher’s Button Man, the one who pulls the trigger.
