Post-Launch Message

Hey Rangers!

It's been a very exciting day, huh? Can't believe the park's open once again!!

Nah but in all seriousness, a LOT of people have been checking out the game and I'm very honoured!! Y'all seem to be enjoying what I've made, and I'm genuinely so glad to hear that!! But of course... just like any other game release, there's issues...

Which is why I ask YOU to help me!

I'm a single developer (@daniellagdev on Twitter) and this is my first major, MAJOR game so I really do want it to be as polished and fun as I can possibly make it! The only other person helping me with the game is Squeaks D'Corgeh (Known for popular indie hit Shipwrecked 64) who's assisted me with technical aspects, as well as helping me out with animations for future updates!!

And so, where you come in, is reporting bugs and providing feedback to me! I'll be taking ALL of your feedback into consideration, and it'll go towards improving the game as a whole! This is only a fifth of the full game, but I want it to be the best first fifth it can be, and to do that I need y'all to help me!

So starting off, the first update to the game will be the Day One patch, v1.0.1, which will be fixing a fair amount of issues that people have been having with things like the AI, Gameplay Mechanics, things not being explained well enough, etc. and that should already serve as a major stepping stone for what's to come!! All of the issues that will be fixed in this update are issues that you guys have documented, whether it be in the steam reviews or YouTube videos!

After the Day One patch, I'll be continuing to work on the game until it's in a state that I'm happy with, and then we'll begin work on Chapter 2! I estimate that to be around v1.1.0 or so, we'll see what happens though!

But yeah, that's all I wanted to say! I'm working on a Discord server for the game at the moment, so once that's finished, I'll put it here and I'll include it in the game too, so feel free to join that once it's done so that we have a more centralized community to assist with reporting bugs!
